The CEO of the French studio Quantic Dream, Guillaume de Fondaumiere, spoke about the new successes of the interactive drama about the difficult life of androids, Detroit: Become Human.
Let us remind you that the last time the developers reported on the results of Detroit: Become Human was at the end of December – at the end of 2023, the number of copies sold reached 9 million.
As it became known, nine and a half months after overcoming that peak, the total sales of Detroit: Become Human on PC and PS4 reached new heights and exceeded 10 million copies.
De Fondomier clarified that we are talking specifically about purchased copies: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played the game. You are everything to us and we could not have achieved this amazing milestone without each and every one of you!”
«We’re proud that the Detroit: Become Human community continues to grow every day. There are already 10 million of us. Thank you everyone for your love and support,” the official Quantic Dream microblog joined the celebration.
Detroit: Become Human takes place in 2038. Players take on the role of three androids to make decisions, each of which will lead to “dramatic turns in a tense, branching plot.”
Detroit: Become Human debuted in May 2018 on PS4, and in December 2019 on PC (Epic Games Store). In June 2020, the game reached Steam, where until October 14 it is sold with a 70 percent discount (390 rubles).
