The night before, a not-so-high-quality photo of a strange-looking vehicle moving around the Warner Bros. film studio spread across social networks. — there have been speculations that this is the Tesla Cybercab robotaxi, which the company intends to introduce in October.
It is too early to draw any conclusions about the car based on its appearance – it has a canary yellow color, and its shape has clearly been changed for camouflage. The final appearance of the Tesla robotaxi may have significant differences from this prototype: wheels, a square rear end, a strange ridge on the roof, possibly a lidar, and strange dents on the hood.
The first photo was allegedly posted by Reddit user u/boopitysmopp, who is reportedly an employee of Warner Bros. By now, his post has been deleted, as has his profile.
The presentation of the Tesla Cybercab robotaxi, according to unofficial information, will take place at the Warner Bros studio on a site of 110 acres (44.5 hectares), where many objects are located, including models of small cities. Yellow paint is a logical choice for the camouflage of a car that is designed to work as an unmanned taxi. The car appears to be small in appearance, perhaps about the size of a Tesla Model 3. The original Reddit post also reported that it has a full-size taillight installed in the rear, apparently inspired by the Cybertruck. It is impossible to judge the presence or absence of a steering wheel and pedals from this photo. Perhaps other unofficial photos of the Tesla robotaxi will appear before the presentation.
