As expected, on September 10, as part of the technical presentation of the PS5, the official announcement of the PS5 Pro took place. Along with the console, Sony also confirmed a preliminary list of games that will receive its support.
The CNET portal, whose employee has already tested the PS5 Pro in action, citing information from Sony, reports that by the November release, 40 to 50 games will be improved for the future console.
The official PlayStation blog provides a list of currently confirmed projects that have already been released and are still preparing for release with support for PS5 Pro:
Games enhanced for the new console will be labeled PS5 Pro Enhanced. Improvements mentioned include increased resolution and/or frame rate. For example: 60 fps at 4K, not 30 fps.
PS5 Pro will go on sale on November 7 this year and will cost $700 (€800). In this case, the console will be supplied without a disc drive – you will have to purchase it separately or “transplant” it from the new base PS5.
