The developers equipped the new product with a 12.1-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a peak brightness of 600 cd/m² is used. The screen is protected from mechanical damage by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet is equipped with an 8 MP front camera and an 8 MP main camera, each of which supports 1080p video shooting at speeds of up to 30 frames per second.

The hardware basis of the Poco Pad 5G is the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 microprocessor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz). The Adreno 710 accelerator is responsible for processing graphics. The tablet will be available in versions with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage. Autonomous operation is ensured by a 10,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 33 W.

The software platform uses Android 14 with a proprietary HyperOS interface, which provides integration with other Poco and Xiaomi devices. The ability to integrate devices makes it possible to use a common clipboard, notes synchronized between devices, network synchronization and the function of broadcasting applications from a smartphone to the tablet screen.

Poco Pad 5G is compatible with the Poco Smart Pen and Poco Keyboard, which will be sold separately. As for the price, the retail price of Poco Pad 5G with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM will be $285, and for the version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM you will have to pay $310.
