Zotac introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Blower video card, equipped with a cooling system that includes a tangential fan. The new product does not offer factory overclocking of the GPU; it is equipped with a standard 8-pin power connector and the usual set of video outputs.
The Zotac RTX 4070 Blower is powered by an AD104-250 GPU with 5888 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. It is noteworthy that the manufacturer is positioning the new product as a gaming product, and not intended, for example, for workstations or systems for working with AI algorithms. The company, in particular, notes that the card is intended for use as part of compact gaming systems in the SFF (Small Form Factor) format. The thickness of the new product is 2.5 expansion slots.
The power consumption of the Zotac GeForce RTX 4070 Blower is stated at 200 W. The card supports overclocking through the proprietary FireStorm utility, but the company does not report the maximum TGP value (Total Graphics Power) available for it.
As VideoCardz writes, Zotac GeForce RTX 4070 Blower has already been listed at one Polish retailer. However, the seller has not yet announced the cost of the video card.
It should be added that the Zotac GeForce RTX 4070 Blower is not the only video card with a cooling system that uses a tangential fan. For example, previously similar models RTX 4070 Turbo and RTX 4070 Blower were released by Asus and PNY.
