The sequel to Bully (aka Canis Canem Edit) has been dead for a long time, but the original game still shows signs of life: the school action movie from Rockstar Games appeared in the new age rating.
As noted by the Gematsu portal, recently the Taiwanese commission Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee issued an age rating for Bully in versions for several target platforms – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
Bully is already available on PS4 (via PS2 emulation), and Bully: Scholarship Edition is still available on Steam. Additionally, the Scholarship Edition on Xbox 360 has a separate rating, so the reference to that console may be misleading.
It is worth noting that starting tomorrow, August 20, Bully will become available to subscribers of the GTA+ service, as Rockstar Games announced at the beginning of the month, but this does not explain the whole situation.
GTA+ is currently not available on PC, PS4 or Xbox One – only PS5, Xbox Series X and S. In the case of Bully (and, for example, GTA: Liberty City Stories), subscribers will also be able to download the mobile version (iOS, Android).
As a reminder, Bully tells the story of teenage bully Jimmy Hopkins, who begins a new school year at a boarding school in the town of Bullworth and gets involved in all sorts of trouble.
The original Bully was released in 2006 on PS2 and earned recognition from both critics and ordinary players. An ambitious sequel was also in development for several periods, but it never saw the light of day.
