Antec has released the SF850X compact power supply. The new product, with a power of 850 W, received an 80 Plus Gold energy efficiency certificate, indicating that under load its efficiency reaches 92%.
The dimensions of the Antec SF850X power supply are 100 × 125 × 63.5 mm. It has a modular cable connection scheme and is equipped with one +12 V line, through which power up to 850 W is output.
Antec SF850X complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.0 power standards. It also includes one 12+4-pin 12VHPWR power connector for video cards. The power supply components are cooled by a 92 mm fan based on a hydrodynamic bearing.
The power supply has various protection systems, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-power protection (OPP), short circuit protection (SCP), under-voltage protection (UVP) , Surge and Overvoltage Protection (SIP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP) and Very Low Load Protection (NLO). The company claims a seven-year warranty on the Antec SF850X power supply.
The new product is already available for sale. However, the manufacturer did not disclose its cost.
