DFI has expanded its range of single-board computers with the RPP051 model based on the Intel Raptor Lake-U (13th generation Core) hardware platform. The new product is suitable for creating edge equipment and Internet of Things devices designed for operation in a wide temperature range – from -30 to +80 °C.
The product is made in the Pico-ITX form factor with dimensions of 100×72 mm. Depending on the modification, the U300E chip is used (1P + 4E; six threads; up to 4.3 GHz). Core i3-1315UE (2P + 4E; eight threads; up to 4.5 GHz), Core i5-1345UE (2P + 8E; 12 threads; up to 4.6 GHz) or Core i7-1365UE (2P + 8E; 12 threads; up to 4.9 GHz). There is one SO-DIMM slot for a DDR5-4800 module with a capacity of up to 32 GB.
The DFI RPP051 solution has an M.2 B key 3042/2242 connector (PCIe x2/USB 2.0/SATA 3.0) for SSD, an M.2 E key 2230 connector (PCIe x1/USB 2.0) for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter, and an M connector .2 B key 3042/2242 (PCIe x1/USB 3.2 Gen1/SATA 3.0) for 4G/5G modem (plus Nano SIM card slot). The equipment includes an Intel I226IT/LM 2.5GbE network controller and a Realtek ALC888S-VD2-GR audio codec.
There are two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, a DP++ connector (up to 4096 × 2304 pixels; 60 Hz) and an RJ-45 socket for a network cable. Through the connectors on the board, you can use two USB 2.0 ports, a serial RS-232/422/485 port, an eDP interface, etc.
Power (12 V) is supplied through a 2-pin connector. Compatibility with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 and Linux is declared. The price of the single-board computer is $620, $891 and $1128 for versions with a Core i3-1315UE, Core i5-1345UE and Core i7-1365UE processor, respectively.
