Nvidia announced an update to the Nvidia App, a universal software that combines the functionality of the GeForce Experience application and the Nvidia Control Panel. The Nvidia App was introduced in February this year but is still in beta. The new version of the application has additional settings from the Nvidia Control Panel.
In particular, the new version of the Nvidia App includes settings for RTX Video Super Resolution and RTX Video HDR scaling technology to improve video quality, as well as settings for selecting screen resolution and refresh rate, screen orientation for monitors and TVs.
In the future, the application will also include settings for G-Sync, digital audio, custom resolutions, and support for multi-monitor configurations.
Based on user feedback, Nvidia has improved the Graphics tab in the Nvidia App, adding new search filters for owners of large game libraries. Support for new languages has also been added. The app’s in-app overlay feature now shows CPU load, latency, and GPU information.
Nvidia has also integrated ChatRTX into the app. It is available as an additional module for installation.
