Google is preparing to introduce a new generation of Pixel Buds Pro 2 wireless headphones with an updated design. Well-known insider OnLeaks shared a series of images with Android Headlines showing the new headphones with a characteristic element – “wings” – which can add additional wearing comfort.

It is reported that the new model will receive a number of significant design changes. The main feature of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be the return of the “wings” – stabilizing arms that were present in the first generation of Pixel Buds and which Google called “stabilizer arc”. However, in the Pro 2 version they will be less convex, which should improve comfort over long periods of wear. Let us remember that users of the original model complained of discomfort during prolonged use of the device due to the arms being too protruding.
In addition, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will have a larger mesh on the speakers that matches the color of the headphones, which should improve the aesthetic appearance and overall make the design more harmonious. The device is expected to be available in several color options: grey, white, green and pink.

As for the charging case, its design will remain virtually unchanged, retaining its characteristic oval shape and LED backlighting. An interesting detail may be the appearance of a small hole next to the USB-C port. Presumably this could be a speaker for playing sound when using the Google Find My Device search function, but the exact purpose of this element is not yet known.
