Asus introduced ROG Zephyrus and TUF Gaming AI gaming laptops powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 starting at $1,240

Asus has announced new gaming laptops in the ROG Zephyrus and TUF Gaming series, equipped with advanced AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, which include an AI co-processor (NPU) to improve the speed of performing artificial intelligence tasks. In addition to this, the new products are equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics accelerators to ensure high performance in games.

The manufacturer presented an updated version of the TUF Gaming A16 laptop, which will be available with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor (12 Zen 5 cores, 24 threads, operating frequency 5.1 GHz) with integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics. In addition to this, the new product will have a discrete GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive.

The laptop received a 90 Wh battery. TUF Gaming A16 received from the developers a 16-inch display with support for 2.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a peak brightness of 400 cd/m². The design provides HDMI 2.1 ports, USB Type-C, and supports Thunderbolt 4. The TDP is 160 W. The thickness of the laptop is 17.9 mm and the weight is 2.2 kg.

Another new product was the Zephyrus G14 laptop, which received a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2.5K, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a peak brightness of 400 cd/m². The model is equipped with the same AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor combined with 16 or 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage capacity.

Buyers will be able to choose between versions of the device with a GeForce RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 graphics accelerator. The power source is a 73 Wh battery and a TDP of 110 W.

As for the retail cost of new products, it will depend on the selected configuration:

• Asus TUF Gaming A16 (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB ROM, GeForce RTX 4060) – $1240;
• Asus TUF Gaming A16 (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB ROM, GeForce RTX 4060) – $1305;
• Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB ROM, GeForce RTX 4060) – $1375;
• Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB ROM, GeForce RTX 4070) – $1650.
