The new product uses a 10-bit matrix with support for 1.07 billion colors, a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and a response speed of 1 ms (GtG). The display claims 108 percent coverage of the NTSC color space and 121 percent sRGB. The new product supports displaying content in HDR10 format.

The manufacturer does not report the monitor’s support for image synchronization technologies. At the same time, the monitor offers some gaming features, including a “smart crosshair” that changes color depending on the color gamut of the displayed space on the screen. It also claims to support several settings profiles for different game genres.

The Philips Evnia 27M2C5200W monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 connectors, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one 3.5 mm audio output. There is also an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the height of the display above the table, its rotation angles and tilt.

Philips has priced the Evnia 27M2C5200W at €229. The monitor should go on sale this month.
