Microsoft will add links to GeForce Now to the Xbox games catalog

Microsoft will add links to Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service to Xbox catalog pages – the integration will give gamers the ability to choose between Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now when viewing a list of games in the web interface.

Until now, the block of cloud games in the catalog included a link only to the Microsoft-owned Xbox Cloud Gaming service, but Nvidia GeForce Now will join it in the near future. The catalog has not yet been updated, and it is not clear where the link to the alternative cloud platform will lead: to its main page or the page of the corresponding game.

Nvidia’s GeForce Now RTX 4080 plan is perhaps the most impressive offering in the cloud gaming service market today – Nvidia even claims that its service provides lower latency than a physical Xbox Series X running locally connected to a 60Hz TV .

Previously, Microsoft and Nvidia signed a 10-year agreement allowing the video card manufacturer to license games from the Xbox PC catalog for the GeForce Now platform, including products from Activision Blizzard. This year, Nvidia also released an update to GeForce Now, which allows users to sync Xbox accounts and Microsoft Store purchases with the cloud gaming service. GeForce Now can also run projects from the PC Game Pass subscription catalog.
