Samsung Announces Summer Unpacked Presentation — Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Ring to Be Unveiled on July 10

Samsung’s next summer Unpacked event will take place on July 10 in Paris, the Korean manufacturer announced the day before. The video announcement of the presentation hints at foldable devices, and the company itself clarifies: “Get ready to unleash the power of Galaxy AI, now built into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem.” News about the Samsung Galaxy Ring smart ring is also expected.

Unconfirmed information suggests that the changes to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 smartphones will be minor: the Z Flip6 will get a slightly larger battery, and the Z Fold6 will have a more square body. Nothing revolutionary, but Samsung’s line of foldable devices is indeed developing slowly.

The most intriguing announcement at the event may not be any of the smartphones, but the news of the release of the Galaxy Ring smart ring, which was announced at the winter Unpacked event earlier this year and was shown live at Mobile World Congress.

The key theme of the event will likely be Galaxy AI again — the first Unpacked presentation was dedicated to artificial intelligence, as were Google I/O, Microsoft Build, and Apple WWDC. Samsung will also be broadcasting Unpacked live on its main website, in its news section, and on its YouTube channel — it will start on July 10 at 16:00 Moscow time.
