The Nubia Z70S Ultra smartphone received a 50-megapixel OmniVision sensor measuring 1 / 1.3 “. For comparison, the original model is equipped with a Sony IMX906 sensor measuring 1 / 1.56 “. The new camera also received 35-mm optics with a fixed aperture of f / 1.7 instead of a variable one (f / 1.6 – f / 4.0). The main sensor is supplemented by a 64-megapixel module measuring 1 / 2 “with an aperture of f / 2.48, optical stabilization and 2.7-fold optical zoom, as well as a 50-megapixel wide-angle module (optics f / 2.0) with a viewing angle of 122º and autofocus, which allows you to take macro shots from a distance of only 2.5 cm to the object. The design of the smartphone is inspired by classic cameras. The device also has a separate shutter button, which also allows you to launch the camera application.

Another improvement on the Nubia Z70S Ultra is a larger 6,600mAh battery, up from the original model’s 6,150mAh. However, the device still only supports 80W wired charging. The dimensions of the Nubia Z70S Ultra remain the same — 164.3×77.1×8.6mm and weigh 228 grams.

Otherwise, the smartphone has not changed. It is equipped with a 6.85-inch OLED screen with an under-screen camera (16 MP sensor, f/2.0 optics). The display resolution is 2688 × 1216 pixels. It is based on a 10-bit BOE Q9+ matrix with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and a backlight dimming frequency of 2592 Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, which replaced the second generation of Longxi glass in the original model.

The device is based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The smartphone offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS storage. In a special version, the device can offer 24 GB of RAM. The glass on the back of the smartphone uses a nanotexture that imitates the texture of leather. Nubia Z70S Ultra has IP68 protection (can be immersed in water up to 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes) and IP69 (withstands direct jets of water).

The Nubia Z70S Ultra is available on ZTEMall.com in Twilight (black) and Melting Gold (gold). The latter is only available with 256 and 512 GB of storage. The base model of the device in the 12/256 GB configuration is priced at 4,600 yuan ($630). The rest of the prices can be found below.

The Nubia Tablet Pro has a 10.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2800 × 1800 pixels (aspect ratio of 16:10) and 10-bit color. It is equipped with four speakers with DTS:X support.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. Copper foil, graphene, and thermal paste cool the processor, dissipating heat to the device’s aluminum frame.

The Nubia Tablet Pro has a 10,100 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The tablet is 7.3 mm thick and weighs 523 grams. There are Pogo Pins at the bottom of the tablet that can be used to connect the optional keyboard case with 1.3 mm key travel and a scissor mechanism. The keyboard’s touchpad recognizes 12 different gestures. A stylus is also available for the tablet.

The Nubia Tablet Pro is now available for purchase in China from ZTE’s online store. The base model with 8/256GB of storage is priced at 2,800 yuan ($385). It comes in Titanium Black and Aurora Silver colors.

ZTE is set to unveil the global versions of the Nubia Z70S Ultra smartphone and Nubia Tablet Pro tablet on May 13.
