Xiaomi will release a tablet based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip this year

Flagship Android tablets powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm microprocessors are quite rare, while flagship smartphones are usually updated annually with the latest hardware solutions. This can be changed by the Chinese company Xiaomi, which, according to the GSM Arena portal, plans to release a productive tablet computer based on the flagship Qualcomm chip this year.

To date, no manufacturer has yet launched a tablet based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite microprocessor. According to an informed source, Xiaomi plans to do this. However, the source did not specify when exactly this device could be presented to the general public.

It was not said about the characteristics of the flagship Xiaomi tablet, but we can assume that they will correspond to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, since otherwise the use of such an expensive microprocessor will be unjustified. Therefore, we can assume that Xiaomi will equip the tablet with at least 8 GB of RAM, but an option with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM is more likely. You should also expect the appearance of a capacious battery with support for fast charging technology. It is likely that more detailed information about the new Xiaomi tablet will appear as the device’s market release date approaches.
