The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro uses a dual amplifier and triple driver system with an 11mm titanium woofer and 10mm ceramic tweeter to deliver high-quality sound. The manufacturer claims that the headphones were tuned by a team of Harman Golden Ear engineers, and the new product itself is equipped with a Master Harman equalizer with four preset sound profiles.

Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are equipped with an active noise cancellation system with an efficiency of up to 55 dBA. A system of three microphones blocks wind noise at a speed of up to 15 m/s, and during calls provides noise cancellation of external sounds with a volume of up to 100 dBA. The headphones support AI functions, including real-time speech translation, as well as speech-to-text conversion.

The headphones also connect to the signal source using Bluetooth 5.4. The new product has IP54 protection. In Bluetooth mode, Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro will work up to 8 hours, and with a charging case, the battery life increases to 40 hours. In Wi-Fi mode, the new product will work up to 10 hours from the battery and up to 40 hours with recharging from the case.

Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are available in Snow Mountain White, Titanium Gold, and Mirage Black (Wi-Fi only). The Wi-Fi audio version is priced at 1,499 yuan (about $206). The non-Wi-Fi audio version (Bluetooth only) is priced at 1,299 yuan (about $178). The new product is already available in China.
