Xiaomi has unveiled the compact Redmi 3 Lite home projector, designed specifically for displaying streaming content. The projector delivers 180 lumens of brightness according to the Chinese CVIA standard (approximately 410 according to the ANSI standard), which is enough to clearly display 1080p video in a darkened room. The projector weighs only 1.2 kg, and its dimensions of 146 × 113 × 172.5 mm make it easy to take with you.

Redmi 3 Lite is equipped with a fully sealed optical compartment with an array of glass lenses. The projector provides side projection at an angle of up to 20 degrees while maintaining image clarity. The upgraded cooling system reduces fan noise by 2 dB, which ensures comfortable viewing in a quiet room.
Redmi 3 Lite projects an image of up to 100 inches on the screen from a short distance. The projector helps reduce eye strain with the blue light suppression mode. The built-in laser sensor provides automatic focus and trapezoid correction.
«Under the hood, the Redmi 3 Lite is powered by a quad-core Amlogic T950S chip with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. The RAM capacity is 1 GB, and the built-in storage capacity is 32 GB. This modest configuration is enough to run the HyperOS Connect software shell from Xiaomi, launch lightweight streaming applications, and use basic intelligent automation functions.
The Redmi 3 Lite’s connectivity options include HDMI ports with ARC, USB 2.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi for wireless streaming. The projector comes with a Bluetooth remote control with voice control support. The built-in 3.5mm headphone jack allows you to watch without disturbing others or, conversely, connect an external active speaker system.
The Redmi 3 Lite portable projector will go on sale in China on April 22.
