Xiaomi introduced smartphone Poco M7 Pro 5G — Dimensity 7025 Ultra, 50 MP camera and 5110 mAh battery at prices of $175

Xiaomi’s Poco brand has introduced two new smartphones that support fifth-generation (5G) communications networks. We are talking about the mid-price device Poco M7 Pro 5G and the entry-level smartphone Poco C75 5G. Both new products will debut in the Indian market, but should later appear on sale in other countries.

Poco M7 Pro 5G received from the developers a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a peak brightness of 2100 cd/m² is used. The display is protected from mechanical damage by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area.

The dual main camera is based on a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 (f/1.5) sensor with support for optical and electronic image stabilization. It is complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Supports 1080p video shooting at speeds up to 30 frames per second. The front 20-megapixel camera (f/2.2) is placed in a hole at the top of the display.

The hardware basis of the smartphone is the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra microprocessor (two Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz). The IMG BXM-8-256 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. The device will be available in versions with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage.

The power source is a 5110 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 45 W. To replenish energy there is a USB Type-C interface. The design includes stereo speakers, as well as a 3.5 mm jack for connecting a headset. The device case protects internal components from dust and moisture according to the IP64 standard.

Poco M7 Pro 5G runs Android 14 with the proprietary HyperOS interface. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone will receive OS updates for two years, and security patches for 4 years. At retail, the new product will be available in Lavender Frost, Lunar Dust and Olive Twilight color options. The version of the device with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM costs about $175, and for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM you will have to pay $200.

At the same time, the manufacturer announced the budget smartphone Poco C75 5G. It features a 6.88-inch LCD display that supports HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a 5-megapixel front camera placed in a waterdrop-shaped cutout at the top of the display. The main camera is built on a 50-megapixel sensor from Sony and supports 1080p video shooting at speeds up to 30 frames per second.

The Poco C75 5G is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 microprocessor (two Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz). The configuration is complemented by 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB drive. Installation of a memory card with a capacity of up to 1 TB is supported. Autonomy is provided by a 5160 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 18 W.

Poco C75 5G is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which is installed on the side of the case, as well as a 3.5 mm headset jack. The smartphone comes in Aqua Bliss, Enchanted Green and Silver Stardust color options. The retail price of the new item will be about $95.
