Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 13x smartphone in Vietnam. The new model features a refreshed design that is more suitable for the Redmi Note 14 series, while its specifications are identical to those of the Redmi 13 4G released last year.
Redmi 13x features a 6.79-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution (1080 × 2640 pixels), 90 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 550 cd/m2.
The smartphone’s productive operation is provided by an eight-core Mediatek Helio G91 Ultra processor with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics accelerator, manufactured using a 12-nm process technology. The RAM is 6 or 8 GB, the flash drive capacity is 128 GB.
The rear panel houses a camera module with an updated design, including a main 108-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel camera for macro photography with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels (f/2.5).
The power source is a 5030 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 33 W. The smartphone complies with the IP53 standard for protection against moisture and dust. The device runs on the Android 14 operating system with Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS shell. The specifications of the new product also include a side fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones.
The Redmi 13x smartphone is already on sale. The model with 6/128 GB of memory costs about $168, while the Redmi 13x 8/128 GB costs about $183.
