WhatsApp messenger now has custom chat lists that will help you organize your correspondence and quickly find the conversations you need. You can now create lists for different chat categories and they will all appear at the top of the screen.

According to The Verge, the new feature will be especially useful for those who have difficulty finding the right dialogues. Users can create lists and give them names, such as “Family” or “Work.” These lists will appear at the top of the window, next to the All, Unread, and Groups filters you previously added.

To create a new list, you need to click on the “+” icon in the filter bar at the top of the chats screen. After this, you can enter the name of the list and choose which chats to add – group or individual. If there are several lists, the line can be scrolled horizontally.
The function has already gradually begun to be added to users’ devices, and some Android owners can already fully work with it. And although the rollout process will take some time, WhatsApp promises that in the coming weeks this useful innovation will become available to everyone.
