Vivo has unveiled the budget-friendly Vivo Y37c smartphone, which joins the Vivo Y37 family, which includes the Vivo Y37 and Y37m models with Dimensity 6300 chips, introduced last year, as well as the Vivo Y37 Pro with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.
Vivo Y37c features a large 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 570 cd/m² brightness. The Eye Protection feature reduces harmful blue light emissions, which is certified by TÜV Rheinland.
The waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, while the rear panel houses a 13-megapixel main camera.
Vivo Y37c is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7225 (Unisoc T612) processor with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz and an Arm Mali-G57 MP graphics accelerator. The amount of LPDDR4x RAM is 6 GB with the ability to virtually expand for better performance in multitasking mode. The capacity of the eMMC 5.1 flash drive is 128 GB.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 15 W fast charging. The specifications of the device also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapters, a USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones. The dimensions of the smartphone are 167.30 × 76.95 × 8.19 mm, and it weighs 199 g. The device runs Android 14 with OriginOS 4 software shell. Vivo Y37c also has an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
Vivo Y37c is available in dark green and titanium colors. The price of the new product is about $103.
