The Vivo V50e is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz, GPU Mali-G615 MC2). The same chip is used in its predecessor, the V40e. The device received 8 GB of RAM and is offered in configurations with 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory. The new product runs on the Android 15 operating system with the Funtouch OS 15 shell. The company promises to release three main versions of the OS and four years of security updates for the smartphone.

The Vivo V50e features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1800 cd/m², and HDR10+ support. The screen is protected by Diamond Shield Glass from Schott Glass.

The front of the smartphone has a 50-megapixel camera with autofocus support. Unlike its predecessor, the V50e selfie camera can record video in 4K resolution. The back of the device has two 50-megapixel cameras: the main one is based on the Sony IMX882 sensor with optical stabilization, and a wide-angle one with a 116-degree viewing angle. The camera modules are complemented by an Aura Light flash.

Since the smartphone is launched in India, the new product offers support for some exclusive wedding portrait effects for the camera (Prosecco, Neo Retro, Pastel). In addition, the smartphone supports AI features such as AI Image Expander and AI Photo Enhancer. Support for underwater shooting is also declared. The device has a degree of protection against water and dust according to IP68 and IP69 standards.

The smartphone is powered by a 5,600 mAh battery (100 mAh more than the V40e) with support for 90 W fast charging (10 W more than the V40e). The Vivo V50e will be available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colors.

The Vivo V50e in the 8/128 GB configuration costs $340/€305, while the 8/256 GB version costs $360/€325. The smartphone will go on sale from April 17.
