The ColorPro VP-2788-5K boasts 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The 218 PPI pixel density matrix provides crisp detail, while support for Apple’s scaling technology ensures crisp images. The panel used offers a 75Hz refresh rate and a 14ms response time, which isn’t ideal for gamers, but is good enough for creative people working with media content.

Support for Thunderbolt 4 is declared, which provides support for charging at up to 100 W, data transfer at speeds of up to 40 Gbps, and the ability to connect a second 5K monitor. In addition, there are HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-C, and USB Type-A interfaces. A built-in hub supports connecting peripheral devices.

The monitor comes with a stand with adjustable height, tilt, and rotation. The manufacturer positions the ColorPro VP-2788-5K as a budget alternative to Apple’s Studio Display. The new product from ViewSonic costs $800, which is significantly cheaper than the Studio Display, which costs $1,599.
