Users around the world have encountered connection errors to sites running through Cloudflare’s CDN and DDoS protection service. However, access problems vary depending on the region. Downdetector, a crash analysis service, has also seen an increase in complaints about Cloudflare crashes.

Cloudflare says it is currently conducting scheduled maintenance in Singapore and Nashville, US, but the company’s service status page does not indicate any issues. However, many users around the world are reporting problems accessing sites that use Cloudflare. When you try to open such sites, browsers display error messages indicating problems with connecting to the server.
The problem was reported by the resource BleepingComputer, whose website also became a victim of this failure. “Our users are experiencing problems with periodic access to the site. However, monitoring tools show that we are still receiving traffic, indicating a regional nature of the outage,” the message said. At the time of publication of the news, users from the United States can access the site, but resource employees living in other countries cannot access it.
Downdetector also recorded an increase in complaints against Cloudflare around 20:45 Moscow time, which coincides with the moment when BleepingComputer began experiencing problems. Similar messages are coming from the social network X. Users report that their sites are not accessible via IPv4, but are accessible via IPv6.
The Cloudflare outage also affected the NodeJS resource. The organization said the issue affects “the ability to access nodejs.org, including access to download Node.js packages.” BleepingComputer reached out to Cloudflare for comment, but the company has not yet responded.
