Another large manufacturer, ASROCK, told PCMAG that he was considering the transfer of production from China to other countries, including Taiwan and Vietnam to minimize the consequences of the duties introduced. However, the process of transferring factories will take time, and ASROCK warned that during the period of transition of products prices may continue to grow. “We can partially take additional expenses for ourselves, but part of the cost will still be transferred to consumers,” the company said.

Despite everything, NEWEGG’s increase in prices was higher than 10 %, which aroused suspicions of customers. Some suggest that the retailer uses a deficit and a situation with duties as an excuse to overstate prices.
