US President Donald Trump, on the eve of January 23, signed a decree related to the artificial intelligence industry and aimed at “making America to the world capital of artificial intelligence.” This was reported by Reuters with reference to the statement that the presidential assistant in the White House made.

The decree sets a term of 180 days to develop an “Action in the field of artificial intelligence” (Artificial Intelligence Action Plan) – the formation of a policy “to maintain and strengthen the global domination of America in the field of AI for promoting human prosperity, economic competitiveness and national security”.
Trump has directed his AI adviser and national security adviser to begin working to roll back policies and regulations put in place by former President Joe Biden. On Monday, January 20, Trump rescinded an executive order signed by Biden that was aimed at reducing the threats posed by artificial intelligence to consumers, workers and national security.
This document required developers of AI systems that pose a threat to U.S. national security, the economy, or public health to provide authorities with risk tests of those systems under the Defense Production Act before they are released to the public.
