The Yandex Music platform has introduced the “Trailers” feature – a new format that helps you get to know new artists, albums, playlists and tracks through the most notable excerpts from their works.

«Trailer” allows you to quickly get acquainted with the work of an artist that the listener learned about, for example, using the “My Wave” personal recommendation system. Opening material in this format does not affect the Yandex Music recommendation algorithm – you can get acquainted with any artists, compositions or playlists, and this will not affect the content of My Wave.
Content for “Trailers” is selected using artificial intelligence – it analyzes the content of the composition, highlighting bars, vocal parts, boundaries of verses and choruses, on the basis of which it selects the most characteristic fragment of the composition. When a “Trailer” is created based on an album, playlist, or the entire work of an artist, it is a small mix with smooth transitions.
To launch the “Trailer” you need to click on the corresponding button on the page of the artist, album or playlist, or long press on an individual song. From there you can go to listen to the entire work by selecting the “Listen in full” command, and you can like any composition directly in the “Trailer” so that it appears in the “Collection”. The new feature is already available to all Yandex Plus subscribers in the Yandex Music mobile and desktop applications.
