TP-Link has announced the Archer GXE75 router, which is aimed at gamers. The new product supports the Wi-Fi 6E wireless standard and can operate in three frequency bands. The router has an unusual futuristic design and a shape close to a triangular prism.
The Archer GXE75 tri-band router supports 6 GHz (2402 Mbps), 5 GHz (2402 Mbps) and 2.4 GHz (574 Mbps). Support for the Game Boost function has been implemented, which allows you to prioritize game traffic to minimize delays in online games. In addition to this, the device is equipped with the TP-Link HomeShield security package to protect connected devices from various types of cyber threats. EasyMesh technology is supported to create a seamless wireless network.
In terms of available wired interfaces, the Archer GXE75 design features one 2.5-Gigabit WAN/LAN port, one Gigabit WAN/LAN port, three Gigabit LAN ports, and one USB 3.0. The device supports various encryption protocols, including WPA, WPA2, WPA3 and WPA/RPA2-Enterprise (802.1x). The router is equipped with four internal antennas, and its dimensions are 237 × 129.5 × 193 mm.
The TP-Link Archer GXE75 router will begin shipping later this month. The retail price of the new item will be $170.
