Jiteng’s Geekom brand intends to release, as it claims, the world’s first mini-PC based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite Arm processor. The success of this device will largely be determined by its retail price, which has not yet been announced.

Technically, Geekom’s device won’t be the world’s first mini PC with a Snapdragon X Elite processor, as Qualcomm released its own Dev Kit based on the chip a few months ago. However, it was not available for purchase, and later Qualcomm canceled pre-orders altogether, so the device never made it into the hands of everyone. However, some people did receive the mini-PC and were able to test it out, although it never became a true retail product and was never mass-produced.
Geekom has a chance to change the situation, as the company’s new product could truly be the first mass-produced mini-PC based on the Snapdragon X Elite. The manufacturer has been producing devices with Intel and AMD processors for many years, and the situation is unlikely to change dramatically, but at the same time, Geekom may become the first major player in the mini-PC market to decide to do something new.
Unfortunately, at the moment the new product from Geekom is mentioned only in a teaser image that appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo. The published image does not reveal the characteristics of the device or the date of its official announcement. In addition, there is no mention of this mini-PC on the Geekom website yet. It can be assumed that after the release of a mini-PC based on Snapdragon X Elite, the manufacturer will introduce a more affordable model with the Snapdragon X Plus chip, which will help increase consumer interest.
