The vendor began accepting pre-orders on Saturday, several days ahead of Apple, which will present the new iPhone 16 this evening.

Details about the unusual tri-fold Mate XT will only be revealed tomorrow. Not much is known about the device at the moment, despite Huawei releasing a teaser video showing off the Mate XT a few days ago. The retail price of the new product has not yet been announced. Official sales of the first tri-fold smartphone will begin on September 20.

According to Canalys analysts, for the first time, Chinese manufacturers took all the first five places in the ranking in terms of smartphone shipments to the home market. According to experts, in the second quarter Huawei sold 10.6 million smartphones in the Chinese market, which allowed the company to take fourth place in the ranking.
