The resource at DOGE.GOV is connected to the database open for access and adding information to third parties, two experts in the field of web development were found. This means that anyone has the opportunity to post their materials on the DOGE website. At least twice took advantage of vulnerability – unknown persons created pages on it, which indicated that “this is a. GOV site” and ridiculed the “experts” who left the database open – at the time of writing the material, these pages continue to work.

In the upper area of the pages, it is indicated that DOGE.GOV is the “official website of the Government of the United States”, but, according to the developers, the practice of its development does not meet the standards, and the site is not posted on government servers. Pages are allegedly generated on the Cloudflare Pages platform, to which the code base is connected to GitHub or on another similar service. In other words, the site is not posted on a physical server or in a cloud like Amazon Web Services.
The DOGE website began work in January, but during the first few weeks it remained almost empty. On Tuesday, February 11, Musk said that his department for reducing expenses is as transparent as possible – the department would document all its activities on the website and on the social network X.
