The Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming processor, which went on sale last week, turned out to be so popular that its stocks in stores quickly dried up, and resellers began offering the chip at exorbitant prices on secondary trading sites. New supplies of chips are sold out almost instantly. In many US stores, processors are only available for purchase at retail locations.

In Europe, the situation with the availability of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D appears to be no better. A large German electronics retailer, Mindfactory, known for its commitment to open sales statistics, announced that it does not expect new deliveries of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D until at least the end of December this year. The good news is that given the shortage of chips, the store does not plan, at least for now, to increase the cost of the processor. You can pre-order it at the same price as last week, at the start of sales.

According to VideoCardz, other retailers simply removed the processor from their range due to the shortage.
AMD has not yet made any official comments on the availability of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in stores, nor has it announced plans to release a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D or a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D. If Mindfactory’s information is correct, then gamers who were unable to purchase a processor in the first week of its sales will be able to purchase a new chip no earlier than early January next year. At the same time, according to rumors, AMD should introduce 12- and 16-core Ryzen 9000X3D models.
