Vision Research introduced a new camera for high -speed shooting – Phantom T2110 with a 1 MP sensor. The maximum shooting rate reaches 483,300 frames per second, although for this you will have to sacrifice resolution. However, even in this mode, eight seconds of records spend the entire side memory of the camera in the maximum configuration – 256 GB.
The cameras received a 12-bit image sensor type Backside -lluminated (BSI)-with electronics located behind photodiods (photosensitive pixels). This allows you to collect the falling light without interference and is extremely in demand for filming in conditions of weak light. Typically, such sensors are used in devices for shooting fleeting scientific experiments.
With a full resolution of 1 MP (1280 × 800 pixels), the Phantom T2110 camera records a video at a speed of 21,000 frames per second. The maximum recording speed is 483,300 frames per second – it is possible with a decrease in resolution to 640 × 64 pixels. The total capacity of the sensor is 21 GP/s, and to increase the recording speed, the resolution has to be sacrificed.
The camera (sensor) can be removed in monochrome and color modes, as well as in ultraviolet light. Quantum efficiency of the sensor – the ability to convert photons into electrons – depends on the mode of operation of the sensor and varies from 84.3 % in monochrome mode to 77 % in color. However, when choosing the maximum resolution mode, the effectiveness of the color sensor increases to 83 %. In modern smartphones, the QE value usually exceeds 90 %.
The camera comes in options with RAM 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB, with the possibility of dividing into 63 sections. As a power -dependent storage, the Cinemag V drive is used. When equipping 256 GB of the built -in memory, the T2110 camera can record up to eight seconds of the video with the maximum frequency of frames. SSDs up to 8 TB are also supported.
The Phantom T2110 camera is supplied in standard configuration with the Nikon F Bayonet, which supports Nikon F and G. Through the additional mount, it is also compatible with Canon EF, PL, C and M42 lenses. The camera writes a video in Cine Raw, Cine Compressed, Apple Prores, H.264 MP4 and others. Photos in JPEG, TIFF, RAW, DNG and specialized graphic formats are also available.
As is usually the case with unique cameras (Phantom speed cameras are no exception), the price of the price is not available.
