Motorola is gearing up to release an updated collection of Razr foldable smartphones, and key specs of the devices are leaking early. This year, the Motorola Razr’s flexible display has shrunk, its battery capacity has grown, and it’s getting a new, brighter color option, according to the latest leak.

Information about the 2025 Motorola Razr foldable smartphone was published by XpertPick, including demo videos and technical specifications of the device. The gadget received a new MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 12 GB of RAM, IP48 water and dust protection, and, unexpectedly, a more compact display. The current Motorola Razr uses a 6.9-inch panel, which was replaced by a 6.7-inch screen.

Despite the smaller display size, the new smartphone has a more capacious battery – the current 4200 mAh battery has been replaced by a 4500 mAh model. The maximum power of wired charging will be 30 W; support for wireless charging is also expected. Previous leaks of information about the new Motorola Razr included reports of an additional button, but it is missing from the new images.

The expected color options include the dark blue Gibraltar Sea, light gray Lightest Sky, and bright green Spring Bug. The latter option is listed in the Chinese TENAA database for the Razr 60 Ultra, which does have an extra button on the side.

The current Motorola Razr was introduced in June 2024.
