The new Apple Mac Mini, the size of a set-top box, will go on sale in November

Apple plans to announce later this month that sales of the new Mac Mini computer, which is rumored to be comparable in size to the Apple TV set-top box, will begin sales on November 1. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported this. He also added that Apple will release an updated iPad Mini tablet, the most current version of which was released back in 2021.

The imminent arrival of the new Mac Mini is quite exciting news. Previously, there were rumors that Apple had significantly redesigned the internal layout of components and was able to reduce the size of the device. It is expected that the new product will be equipped with the proprietary Apple M4 processor, and the flagship version with the M4 Pro chip will receive a good set of external interfaces, although without USB Type-A.

According to Gurman, Apple will later announce a basic 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, as well as more powerful 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, respectively. In addition to this, we should expect the appearance of an updated all-in-one iMac. As for the new iPad Mini, the tablet is expected to receive hardware upgrades, but its appearance will remain the same or change slightly.

In the longer term, Gurman expects Apple to announce a MacBook Air with an M4 chip, an iPhone SE, and an iPad Air with an updated Magic Keyboards and AirTag. It is expected that all these new products will be presented to the general public in the first half of 2025. It is also possible that in the middle and second half of next year Apple will release updated versions of Mac Studio and Mac Pro.
