It was no secret that AMD was preparing to release the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card for entry-level gaming PCs. The Radeon RX 9060 was mentioned back in January when the older RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 were unveiled. Further rumors and leaks also said that AMD would release the Radeon RX 9070 GRE and Radeon RX 9060 XT. In the end, the Radeon RX 9070 GRE has already been unveiled and will go on sale in two days, and the Radeon RX 9060 XT is expected to be announced at Computex 2025.

However, AMD has not yet publicly confirmed the existence of the RX 9060 XT model. However, leaks about it have been appearing with enviable regularity in recent weeks. It is known that the company plans to release two versions of the card: with 8 and 16 GB of video memory. The accelerator is based on the Navi 44 graphics chip with 2048 stream processors.
According to information from the Brazilian retailer Terabyteshop, Gigabyte, one of AMD’s partners, is preparing to release a Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC model with 16 GB of memory. So far, only this version is listed on the store’s website. The start date of sales and even the estimated price of the new product are not indicated. At the time of publication of this note, the product page had already been removed, but vigilant users managed to take screenshots.
The specs listed by the store confirm that the card has one 8-pin PCIe power connector. However, the description states that an 850W power supply is required. Considering that the RX 9070 models require a PSU of up to 750W (with a minimum requirement of 550W), this is likely a typo.
The design of the Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC card follows the same design as the RX 9070 series models. The cooling system includes three fans, and the thickness of the video card is 2.5 expansion slots. The set of external connectors includes two DisplayPort 2.1a and two HDMI 2.1a.
AMD is expected to unveil the Radeon RX 9060 XT on May 21 during its press conference at Computex 2025. The company has not yet revealed the specs or pricing of the new card, and there is no word on whether the 8GB version will be cancelled.
