Update 2.1 is already out on PC and consoles. The main goal of the patch, as reported by the official microblog of the publishing house Focus Entertainment, is to improve the stability of the game.

In particular, the developers fixed the causes of crashes at the launch of the game, during the first intro video and in other rare cases, and also eliminated several bugs that prevented the passage of the story campaign.

The listed improvements apply to versions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for all target platforms, and specifically on PC, the authors have also optimized the CPU for powerful PCs.

As for the first major patch for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Saber Interactive is still planning to release it throughout the rest of September. The update will bring with it several highly requested improvements.

According to the developers, the upcoming patch includes the hotly anticipated support for ultra-wide monitors, private PvE lobbies and a separate location for sparring on the battle barge.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released on September 9 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. A day after the official release, total sales of the game on all platforms exceeded 2 million copies.
