A message appeared on the Support Center page (previously it was red) with a recommendation to users who continue to face the problem, visit the company’s official website to obtain instructions to eliminate it.
In short, for owners of models Epix, Fenix, Instinct, Descent and Enduro, the company advises connecting a computer to a computer with installed Garmin Express software and perform synchronization. After the completion of synchronization, the device should load normally. However, the owners of the Forerunner, Vivoactive, Venu and Approach models will have to complete the full reset to factory settings using a certain combination of buttons. It is noted that this will lead to a loss of data, including settings, uploaded applications, Garmin Wallet data and other parameters.
The problem also affected the Garmin Edge cycling. To restore them, it is recommended to connect the device to the computer with Windows, find and delete the CPE.BIN file.
