The crisis in EKWB is gaining momentum – blocking of bank accounts has begun

The serious financial problems of the Slovenian manufacturer of liquid cooling systems EK Water Block (EKWB) have been known for quite some time. In August this year, it became known that the company was under investigation for delays in payments to employees, and later that month several top managers left EKWB. Now it has become known that some of the company’s bank accounts have been blocked.

It appears that EKWB’s financial situation is only getting worse. According to the source, the company’s bank accounts were blocked for two weeks, but for what reason this happened is currently unknown. It also remains unclear whether all EKWB accounts were blocked or just some of them. The report said that one of the companies working with EKWB was unable to transfer money to the manufacturer’s account due to the fact that the transaction was constantly rejected. This means that blocking accounts may affect the flow of funds to the company. It is noted that some contractors and employees of the LSS manufacturer intend to go to court with claims due to delays in payments.

There are rumors that EKWB CEO Edward Konig is looking for an opportunity to change the ownership of the company in order to somehow improve the financial situation. It seems that due to EKWB’s debts there are few people willing to buy the company, but this does not mean that there are none at all. If the situation does not change, then the market will probably lose the leading manufacturer of liquid cooling systems.
