The court arrested the accounts of the suddenly closed Player.ru store and its owner

The Moscow Arbitration Court issued a ruling on the introduction of interim measures against Voskhod LLC (the main legal entity of Player.ru) and individual entrepreneur Alexey Konyshev as part of a claim by the Federal Tax Service (FTS), which during an on-site audit revealed arrears in taxes for 9 .8 billion rub. The lawsuit was filed by the Federal Tax Service at the end of November.

Interim measures include the seizure of Konyshev’s funds in the amount of 9.7 billion rubles. on all current accounts, including the accounts of the main legal entity, as well as a ban on any actions with the PLEER trademark, the entrepreneur’s BMW X7 car worth 9.5 million rubles. and 17.7 hectares of agricultural land worth 750 thousand rubles. in the Vladimir region.

The Federal Tax Service reported that Player.Ru, founded in 2001, periodically changed its legal entity, without changing the structure, location of the business and personnel. This allowed Konyshev to avoid tax control measures, including on-site inspections that could be scheduled for the three previous years of the company’s activity. In particular, the previous legal entity, Electron, from which the online store operated, transferred its financial and economic activities to Voskhod. At the same time, Konyshev continued to receive money into his accounts from individual entrepreneurs involved in the tax evasion scheme.

According to the case materials, the Federal Tax Service warned the court of the high probability that if it is not seized, the company will again change its organizational structure and quickly withdraw money from its accounts. The court recognized the Federal Tax Service’s concerns as justified, as well as the evidence that the online store’s business model is unfair, “based on the transfer of business,” and satisfied the request for interim measures.

In September, the online electronics store Player.ru suddenly stopped operating “for technical reasons,” closing its only retail store near the Avtozavodskaya metro station, whose staff were fired one day. After this, Konyshev told Kommersant about plans to reformat the online store into a marketplace without its own sales of equipment, which will begin work in November.

«Player.ru has come to the attention of law enforcement agencies before. In July 2018, the Federal Security Service conducted searches and suspended the store’s operations for several days, and in 2019, the court imposed a 30-day restriction due to non-payment of taxes.
