Tesla showed a futuristic robot for unmanned Cybercab.

The recent Tesla quarterly conference made it possible to understand that in June, unmanned taxi of the company will begin to transport customers for money in Austin, Texas, where its new headquarters is located. Judging by the next video, the car manufacturer is preparing to automate not only the trips themselves by taxi, but also the care of the taxi interior.

At least, a minute video with the provocative name “This Robot Sucks” was published on the YouTube Channel of the company (English – “this robot sucks”), demonstrating the approach of the car manufacturer to solve the problem of regular maintenance of unmanned taxi. Apparently, the company is going to serve such machines using manipulators with interchangeable nozzles, which can not only vacuum the surfaces in the car’s cabin, but also literally “grab” objects in the cabin and take them outside the removed spaces. At least, the robot bag for the video, forgotten in the seat, expelled the video from the cabin in such a delicate way.

Contacked nozzles will allow such robots to care for the panels and display of the central screen – to wipe its manipulator automatically. In fact, Tesla can only provide robotic sinks for your unmanned taxi, and the problem of servicing a taxi park will be removed from live staff. As you know, earlier the company experimented with the creation of a manipulator resembling a snake for automatically connecting a charger to the corresponding nest on the body of an electric car. In addition, one of the presentations later had an illustration indicating the possibility of a wireless charging electric car through a circuit built into the base of the parking space. Typically, in the design of the on -board network Cybertruck there are two connectors for connecting the wireless charging circuit. Accordingly, Tesla is ready to implement all these ideas in practice.
