The Tecno brand has introduced a new laptop, Megabook K16S, which is suitable for performing everyday tasks, as well as interacting with resource-intensive applications and undemanding video games. Buyers will be able to choose between several versions of the device.

The new product is made in a thin metal case, and the hinge mechanism used allows the device to be opened 180°. The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The case design includes four 2.5 W speakers, a 2 megapixel camera and a pair of microphones with noise reduction support.
In the maximum configuration, the Megabook K16S is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor with eight cores, 16 threads, a frequency of up to 4.4 GHz and integrated AMD Radeon graphics. The configuration is complemented by 8 or 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB or 1 TB solid-state drive. There is an additional slot for RAM, so the user can independently increase the memory capacity up to 32 GB.
An efficient cooling system is provided to remove thermal energy. The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 70 Wh, which provides up to 17.5 hours of battery life. Buyers will also be able to purchase the Megabook K16S with a Ryzen 5 5625U processor, 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The design provides eight ports for connecting peripheral devices, as well as an Ethernet connector for a wired Internet connection. To protect the device from unauthorized access, there is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.
Megabook K16S comes with the proprietary Tecno PC Manager application, which contains a set of functions to make setting up and working with the device easier. The OneLeap smartphone synchronization feature allows you to integrate Tecno devices into a single ecosystem.
The Tecno Megabook K16S laptop is already available on the DNS network, and will later appear in the stores of other brand partners. The version of the device with the Ryzen 7 5800U chip, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of ROM will cost 54,990 rubles, and the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM will cost 52,990.
