Sony presented limited versions of the PS5 and PS5 Pro game consoles on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand. The consoles are made in the famous gray color in which the original PlayStation was released. With the second generation of PlayStation, the company switched to black. Current PS5 models are offered in white, but support replaceable side panels.

The PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle includes:
The kit also includes a USB-C cable that mimics the original cable for the first PlayStation, a set of stickers, a limited-edition poster (1 of 30 possible designs), and a PlayStation cable clip.
The console will be available for sale in the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle starting November 21.
The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle includes a discless version of the PlayStation 5 with a 1 TB drive in a signature gray color, a disc drive cover in the color of the console, a DualSense controller, and a stand for vertical installation of the console. Here, users will also receive a USB-C cable, stylized as the original cable for the PlayStation 1, a set of stickers, a limited-edition poster and a clip for the PlayStation cable.
Sony notes that a total of 12,300 PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundles will be produced. The number symbolizes the month and day of release of the first PlayStation game console. It is very likely that most of these consoles will end up in the hands of resellers, who will then sell them at an inflated price. The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle will likely be easier to purchase. Sony did not specify how many similar kits with gray PS5 it plans to release, but noted that pre-orders will begin to be accepted on October 10.
In addition to the two special versions of the game consoles, Sony will also release the PlayStation Portal portable console for remote play on PS5 in the same color scheme. There will also be an option to purchase the DualSense Edge controller separately, which will be available to order starting September 26th.
The presented new products will be available in official PlayStation stores. In regions where there are no such stores, local retailers will sell the devices. Sony did not disclose the cost of the new products.
