Sony has announced the DualSense The Last of Us Limited Edition wireless controller, inspired by the franchise of the same name. The device was developed in close collaboration with the creative team at Naughty Dog and features a glossy design with trophy icons applied to the body, referencing key moments, characters and events from both parts of the game.

«”We were excited to have the opportunity to immortalize The Last of Us franchise in a controller that both fans and our team would love. We wanted both The Last of Us games to be represented with trophy icons printed in gloss black on the controller body,” Naughty Dog co-founder Neil Druckmann and studio designer Megan Mehran said in a joint statement.
The Last of Us-themed DualSense wireless controller will be released in limited quantities and will cost $85. Pre-orders for the new product will be available from March 14, with sales, including in retail stores, scheduled to begin on April 10.
«“We’re excited to bring this new design to the community at an exciting time for both new and longtime fans of The Last of Us. In the coming months, PC players will be able to continue the story of this iconic franchise as The Last of Us Part II launches on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on April 3, 2025. Fans will also be able to continue the journey of Joel, Ellie, and Abby in The Last of Us Season 2, premiering on HBO on April 13, 2025,” the PlayStation Blog post reads.
