After months of rumors and leaks, Sony Interactive Entertainment appears to be finally ready to unveil the PS5 Pro. The company announced a special technical presentation.

As it became known from a publication on the PlayStation blog, the event will take place tomorrow, September 10, and will be broadcast on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. The stream starts at 18:00 Moscow time.
The technical presentation will last 9 minutes and will focus on “PS5 and innovation in gaming technology.” The presenter will be PS5 architect Mark Cerny, who presented the characteristics of the console before its release in 2020.

Sony Interactive Entertainment did not specify exactly what innovations in gaming technology Cerny will talk about at the presentation, but the event is expected to announce the PS5 Pro, a more powerful version of the currently available PS5 console.

As The Verge portal reports, citing its own sources, developers are already preparing their games for the premiere of the PS5 Pro: compatibility with the new console should supposedly be ensured for projects released after September 16.
The PS5 Pro is expected to achieve higher resolutions and frame rates, as well as improved ray tracing support. According to insider Tom Henderson, sales will begin in November.
