Just hours after releasing the latest version of its Grok 3 AI model, social network X has doubled the price of its most expensive Premium+ subscription, which gives unlimited access to a chatbot based on the advanced model, to nearly $50 a month.

On the support page, where the subscription plans for the social network X are listed, the Premium+ item for American users has gone up in price to $50 per month or $350 per year. This is the second time the platform’s administration has decided to take such a step recently: just last December, Premium+ went up in price from $16 to $22 per month. Now, the top-of-the-line subscription has become twice as expensive.
Some features of the advanced Grok 3, which Elon Musk calls “the world’s smartest AI,” are available on the SuperGrok plan through the separate Grok app, so features like “reasoning” and “deep search” will only be available to Premium+ users.

It is noteworthy that at different stages of the registration, different prices for the Premium+ subscription are indicated, TechCrunch notes: when trying to purchase it, Platform X may first show $39.83 per month or $477.95 per year, and on the final page – already $395 per year. The support page indicates a monthly fee of $50, on the registration page – $48.40, and on the checkout page – $40. One thing remains unchanged: the price has doubled.
