Xiaomi brought to the attention of users its new models of smartphones Poco X6 Pro 5G, Redmi 14C and Redmi Note 13. The new items combine advanced characteristics, modern design and a fairly affordable price.
The Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone is equipped with a 4nm powerful eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor with a clock frequency of up to 3.35 GHz and an Arm Mali-G615 MC6 graphics accelerator, which, together with LPDDR5X RAM of up to 12 GB, ensures the launch of resource-intensive applications and smooth the course of the games. The capacity of the UFS 4.0 flash drive is up to 512 GB. Thanks to the efficient LiquidCool Technology 2.0 cooling system with a large vapor chamber, the processor, battery and screen are at an optimal temperature and are in working order regardless of the load.
The smartphone has a 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 1.5K (2712 × 1220 pixels) and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz with a brightness of 1200 cd/m² with a peak value of 1800 cd/m², providing clear images even in sunny conditions day. The screen supports DCI-P3 color gamut, PWM backlight brightness adjustment with a high frequency of 2160 Hz and HDR10+ technology, and also has reading and sunlight modes. The screen is protected from damage by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a built-in fingerprint scanner to unlock the device.
The hole at the top of the display houses a 16-megapixel camera (f/2.4) for selfies, on the rear panel there is a main 64-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, complemented by a wide-angle 8-megapixel lens (120°) with aperture f/2.2 and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography (f/2.4).
The 5000 mAh battery supports 67W fast charging. High sound quality is provided by stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. The smartphone runs Android 14 OS with the proprietary HyperOS shell. The device is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP54 standard.
Next on the list of offers is the Redmi 14C smartphone, which has an affordable price and high functionality. It uses a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor with an operating frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics accelerator, which, in combination with LPDDR4X RAM of up to 8 GB with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16 GB, provides stable operation of resource-intensive applications and games. The capacity of the eMMC 5.1 flash drive is up to 256 GB.
Redmi 14C is equipped with a 6.88-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution (1640×720 pixels) and a brightness of 400 cd/m2 (peak brightness – 600 cd/m2). The screen has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and provides 70% coverage of the NTSC color space. The device also has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certificates, indicating reduced levels of blue light harmful to the eyes and no flicker, which reduces eye strain during prolonged use of the smartphone.
For lovers of photography and video shooting, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture. Both cameras support night and portrait modes.
The power source is a 5160 mAh battery with 18 W fast wired charging via the USB Type-C port. The smartphone’s specifications also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone audio jack. The device runs Xiaomi HyperOS.
In turn, Redmi Note 13 is built on a 6nm eight-core Snapdragon 685 processor with a clock frequency of up to 2.8 GHz and an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is up to 8 GB with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16 GB. The capacity of the UFS2.2 flash drive is up to 256 GB and can be expanded by 1 TB using a microSD card.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch FullView AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels) and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Peak brightness is 1800 cd/m2, contrast is 5,000,000:1. The screen provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and supports PWM backlight dimming at a frequency of 960 Hz. The screen has received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly Certification and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification, confirming that the device is safe to use for the eyes. There is also a reading mode. The screen is protected from scratches by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
