Smart speakers SberBoom Home and SberBoom Mini 2 with GigaChat artificial intelligence and improved sound announced

SberDevices introduced two new smart speakers of the family – SberBoom Home with a Zigbee module and LED display, and SberBoom Mini 2 with a translucent body. Thanks to the GigaChat neural network model built into the Salyut voice assistant, new products allow you to perform various creative tasks, for example, you can prepare a greeting for a holiday, create a new recipe, develop a training plan, or create a new fairy tale with your children.

The SberBoom Home smart speaker was designed specifically for the home. The model is equipped with a monochrome LED display that can display information about time, weather or traffic, as well as display the emotions of the Salyut virtual assistant using animations. SberBoom Home is made in a case with increased wear resistance and acoustic transparent fabric, which does not muffle or distort the sound, and is also treated with a special waterproof impregnation.

Thanks to the built-in Zigbee module, SberBoom Home will replace a separate hub for smart home devices, allowing you to run local scenarios even without an Internet connection. With its help, you can connect and manage Sber smart home devices, as well as compatible devices from other manufacturers.

The SberBoom Mini 2 smart speaker has a translucent body, allowing you to see its components along with the logo printed on the inside. SberBoom Mini 2 also features a new color palette.

SberBoom Home and SberBoom Mini 2 have a sound power of 8 W and 5 W, respectively, have 360-degree acoustics and Magnetic Sound technology, which provides rich and clear sound with deep bass thanks to a combination of adaptive sound processing algorithms and a more powerful neodymium magnet used instead of the common ferrite one.

The user can listen to millions of tracks in the HiFi streaming “Sound”; smart algorithms will select music specifically to suit his preferences. You can also now add tracks played on the radio to your Favorites.

Both speakers support TV collaboration mode, allowing you to use your voice to search for movies, change channels, control navigation and video player from any application without the need for a remote control. You can also output audio from TVs directly to smart speakers. One speaker will enhance the sound, connecting two identical ones will ensure viewing of video content with stereo sound.

The new items are already on sale. From August 6, they can be purchased in the official SberDevices online store. The price of SberBoom Home in “Pistachio” and “Sea” colors is 7,990 rubles with a smart temperature and humidity sensor as a gift. The cost of SberBoom Mini 2 in the colors “Neon Grey”, “Quantum Black”, “Electric Yellow” and “Titanium Blue” is 4,490 rubles. Starting August 7, new products will be available on other popular marketplaces and electronics retail chains.
