The developers equipped the HD 505 with 120 Ohm impedance drivers placed in open cups. The device reproduces audio in the frequency range from 12 to 38,500 Hz, and the harmonic distortion coefficient does not exceed 0.2%. Thanks to this, users can be sure of high sound detail. The headphones provide balanced sound with deep lows, clear mids and comfortable highs.

The HD 505’s exterior is based on the proven design of the HD 500, which is renowned for its lightweight fit and durability. Every component, from the synthetic leather headband to the metal outer panels, is built to last. The headphones are lightweight, weighing just 237g, so they don’t cause fatigue even after extended use.

The new product comes with a detachable 1.8 m cable with a 3.5 mm plug and a 6.3 mm adapter. This allows you to connect the headphones to a wide range of audio sources, including amplifiers, sound cards, AV receivers and other devices. Like other models in the line, the HD 505 can have interchangeable ear pads and cables of different lengths depending on the user’s needs.

The Sennheiser HD 505 headphones are already available for retail. Those who want to buy the new product will have to pay $250.
